Riot Games’ League of Legends is one of the world’s most popular video games, with its annual world championship events attracting more online viewers than the Super Bowl. Melcher Media was thrilled to work with Riot in order to create the first ever League of Legends book, Realms of Runeterra. We designed twelve completely distinct chapters, each carefully crafted to immerse the reader in the atmosphere of a different land. Progressing through the book feels like completing an epic journey, and the resulting volume builds out the narratives behind the action in a way that expands and deepens players’ emotional connection to the game. We’re proud that this title was part of the inaugural list for Voracious, a new imprint of Little, Brown and Company.
